CHARMANT Group Announces New President and CEO, Koji Horikawa

SABAE, Japan (Feb. 29, 2024) — CHARMANT Group – a leading producer of top-quality, comfortable eyewear, is pleased to announce the appointment of new President and CEO.
Koji Horikawa, Executive Managing Director was approved as the new President and Chief Executive Officer by the shareholder meeting On Feb 29, 2024, at the CHARMANT Inc.
Horikawa is a son of Kaoru Horikawa, the founder of CHARMANT Group. Having begun his career at CHARMANT’s Japanese domestic division 34 years ago, he has since gained extensive experience across various departments within the company. Staying in HK and CHINA few years, he played a pivotal role in overseeing Chinese manufacturing divisions and product planning. Since 2010, he has served as a Managing Director, responsible for both Japanese and Chinese manufacturing units. Furthermore, since 2019, he has taken on the role of COO, overseeing the domestic business division. His significant expertise within our company positions him well to make substantial contributions in his new role and in CHARMANT Group.
