UN SUSTAINABILITY GOALS AS A GUIDELINE
Our license partner Esprit has long understood the challenges and is taking the lead. With the UN’s sustainability goals embedded into its DNA, Esprit is implementing a circular fashion approach.
Sustainable materials are part of this process. Like those we use in Esprit ECOllection frames, which are 100% recyclable and 100% biodegradable thanks to a special cellulose made from organic sources: cotton-seed and wood fibres, and bio-plasticizers.

These raw materials are mixed, coloured and crafted into acetate sheets in Italy by one of the world’s most acclaimed manufacturers in this field. The result is a lustrous, high-quality natural acetate that is compatible with polycarbonate lenses and is so much kinder to our planet.
A TREE FOR EVERY FRAME
Through a collaboration with the NGO WeForest, Esprit is replenishing forests and making a vital contribution to our environment. So for every ECOllection frame sold by 31st July 2020, a tree will be planted which will help reduce our CO² footprint.
